SATA SSD 2.5″ X-60 / X-600 Series

Swissbit’s industrial grade 2.5” SSDs are ideal solutions for embedded and networking/communication applications requiring Solid State storage in a rugged and high density form factor.

The Swissbit SATA 6Gb/s durabit™ X-60 SSD with MLC technology and the counterpart X-600 in SLC technology offer highest endurance and sustained performance by combining a powerful controller with DRAM supported FTL and increased overprovisioning (MLC only).

They achieve data transfer rates up to 520 MB/s in sequential access and 75,000 IOPS in 4KB random access. In addition, the X-60 / X-600 series feature Swissbit’s proven Power Fail Safety, ATA security feature set, NCQ, TRIM, advanced Wear Leveling & Bad Block management and in-field firmware update functionality. The Swissbit Life Time Monitoring tool provides detailed S.M.A.R.T. based status information for all Swissbit SSDs.

mSATA / SLIM SATA SSDs X-60m, X-600m / X-60s/ X-600s

Swissbit’s industrial grade full size MO-300 SSD modules comprise the MLC based durabit™ X-60m and the SLC based X-600m series. Identically the Slim SATA modules (MO-297) are X-60s and X-600s. All four modules are ideal solutions for embedded applications requiring Solid State storage in high endurance, small and removable form factor.

The Swissbit SATA 6Gb/s module offers highest endurance and sustained performance by combining MLC or SLC technology with a powerful controller and DRAM supported FTL.

They achieve data transfer rates up to 520 MB/s in sequential access and 76,000 IOPS in 4KB random access. In addition, the SSD series features Swissbit’s proven Power Fail Safety, ATA security feature set, NCQ, TRIM, advanced Wear Leveling & Bad Block management and in-field firmware update functionality. The Swissbit Life Time Monitoring tool provides detailed S.M.A.R.T. based status information for all Swissbit SSDs.

M.2 SATA SSDs X-60m2 / X-600m2

Swissbit’s industrial grade M.2 SATA 6Gb/s SSDs are ideal solutions for embedded and networking/communication applications requiring Solid State storage small form factor.

The durabit™ X-60m2 SSD with MLC technology and equivalent SLC version X-600m2 offer highest endurance and sustained performance by combining a powerful controller with DRAM supported FTL. The X-60m2 uses increased overprovisioning for enhanced endurance. The modules are available in 2242, 2260 and 2280 size.

They achieve data transfer rates up to 520 MB/s in sequential access and 75,000 IOPS in 4KB random access. In addition, the M.2 products feature Swissbit’s proven Power Fail Safety, ATA security feature set, NCQ, TRIM, advanced Wear Leveling & Bad Block management and in-field firmware update functionality. The Swissbit Life Time Monitoring tool provides detailed S.M.A.R.T. based status information for all Swissbit SSDs.

CFast SATA SSDs F-50 / F-60 / F-240 / F-600

CFast™ cards combine two existing industry standards into a single product: the CompactFlash™ (CF) card form factor and the Serial ATA (SATA) interface commonly used in hard disks. The Swissbit SATA 6Gb/s durabit™ F-60 CFast™ card offers highest MLC endurance and sustained performance by combining a powerful controller with DRAM supported FTL and increased overprovisioning. The lower cost standard MLC based F-50 and the high end SLC version F-600 complete the family.

They achieve data transfer rates up to 520 MB/s in sequential access and 72,000 IOPS in 4KB random access. In addition, the series features Swissbit’s proven Power Fail Safety, ATA security feature set, NCQ, TRIM, advanced Wear Leveling & Bad Block management and in-field firmware update functionality. The Swissbit Life Time Monitoring tool provides detailed S.M.A.R.T. based status information.

S-200/ S-220/ S-450 / S-45 / S-46 SD Memory Cards

Swissbit’s Industrial SecureDigital (SD) card series are specifically designed, manufactured and tested to withstand extreme environmental conditions. Swissbit offers different series for specific use cases: S-200 and S-220 with SLC technology target existing projects. These SD memory cards have lowest power consumption.

The durabit S-45/S-46 series combine latest MLC technology with an innovative controller and a sub-page based firmware that enables unprecedented random write performance and an up to 100 times higher endurance compared to standard SD card solutions. The S-45/S-46 firmware features include powerful built-in error correction, read retry, autonomous data care management, randomizer, wear leveling and bad block management algorithms, and intelligent power fail protection. The Swissbit SD memory cards are supported by the Swissbit life time monitoring for real time status information.

Applications that demand highest endurance and performance benefit from the SLC based S-450. This series supports data transfer rates of up to 80 MB/s and offers the same data care features as the S-45. Both S-450 and S-45 fulfill UHS-I, class 10 speed grade. By only using the strong bit of an MLC cell the S-46 pSLC version increases the endurance by a factor of 6.7 against MLC and offers all the features of the S-45.

CompactFlash™ Cards

CompactFlash™ (CF) cards are still the most popular flash-based storage solution used in the embedded and industrial markets. The form factor as well as the connector is well established. With strong focus on quality, reliability, robustness and longevity, Swissbit designs its cards with no compromise. We only select components and apply design rules which fit the stringent requirements of our industrial customers. Our hardware and firmware has been tested and qualified by our experienced team and proved in many challenging customer applications.

Swissbit‘s CF Series C-3×0 and C-4×0 come in both, commercial (0°C to 70°C) and industrial temperature (-40°C to 85°C) ranges, providing rugged and reliable memory for a wide range of demanding applications. They are designed to solve a broad range of concerns from compatibility, booting and power fail safety issues to long-term supply, controlled BOM and outstanding Flash protocol handling techniques to ensure industry leading data integrity. In contrast to commonly promoted sequential performance values, Swissbit is especially focusing on optimized random access values, being one of the key factors in industrial applications.

USB Flash Drive – unitedCONTRAST II

USB Flash Drive (UFD) provides non-volatile, solid-state storage in different design options, making it perfectly suited for OEM and industrial market. Swissbit uses high end USB 2.0 flash memory controller, providing high data reliability and endurance. The build-in BCH-ECC engine can correct up to 8 random bit errors per sector, while sophisticated wear leveling algorithms guarantee highest endurance.

USB Flash Drive is available with a standard USB 2.0 certified Type A connector. High performance, high reliability and industrial requirements make the USB Flash Drive product of choice in OEM and industrial markets, such as embedded computing, networking equipment and industrial PCs.
