This new, ultra-miniature connector couple, recently added to PRECI-DIP’s metric line, allows you to spare valuable space on your PCB. Metric 1 mm pitch saves approximately 30% of space per surface unit when compared with a 1.27 mm arrangement. Moreover, the SMD contact pads reduce the PCB footprint by 40% in comparison with a gull-wing configuration. With a 5.6mm board to board height, this connector is highly recommended for applications where space saving is a key issue.
This new connector is equipped with precision-machined contacts arranged in a double row 36 poles pattern (other layout on demand). It is suitable for SMD reflow soldering. The 0.4 mm diameter male contacts come with gold plating, the female contacts are equipped with an inserted four fingers contact clip, gold plated. A coplanarity < 0.1mm is achieved through high quality mould and high precision screw-machined contacts.
